Healthcare practices and other customers may upload, enter, synchronize, or otherwise provide information about their leads, prospective patients, existing patients, customers, or other contacts.

This information may include names, contact information, communication history, appointment information, pipeline status, form submissions, and other information configured by the customer.

When Patient Acquired processes personal information on behalf of a customer, the customer generally determines why and how that information is used, subject to applicable agreements and law.

  • Facilitate appointment scheduling and reminders
  • Support patient and lead reactivation
  • Process transactions and subscriptions

Artificial Intelligence & Automated Processing

Certain Patient Acquired features may use artificial intelligence and automated technologies to support functions such as conversations, lead engagement, follow-up, qualification, scheduling, workflow automation, content generation, and operational assistance.

Customers are responsible for configuring and using AI and automated features appropriately for their businesses.

Patient Acquired's AI functionality is not intended to independently provide medical diagnoses, treatment recommendations, emergency assistance, or clinical decision-making.

SMS, Email, Voice & Other Communications

Patient Acquired may provide technology that enables customers to communicate with contacts through SMS, email, telephone, voicemail, automated messaging, and other communication channels.

When these tools are used, information such as telephone numbers, email addresses, message content, communication history, delivery information, and engagement data may be processed.

Mobile Information & SMS Consent

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Patient Acquired does not sell mobile information, SMS opt-in information, or text messaging consent data.

Healthcare Information

Because Patient Acquired serves healthcare-related businesses, certain customers may use the platform in connection with information subject to healthcare privacy requirements.

Where Patient Acquired acts as a Business Associate under HIPAA, the handling of Protected Health Information (“PHI”) will be subject to an applicable Business Associate Agreement (“BAA”), as required by law.

Cookies & Website Technologies

Patient Acquired may use cookies, pixels, analytics technologies, and similar tools to operate our website, understand usage, measure performance, improve functionality, and support marketing and advertising activities where permitted.

These technologies may collect browser information, device characteristics, pages viewed, referring sources, interaction information, and similar technical data.

How We Share Information

Excluding text messaging originator opt-in data and consent, we may disclose other information to third parties when reasonably necessary to operate Patient Acquired, including:

  • Service providers and subcontractors performing operational functions on our behalf
  • Payment processors and technology providers necessary to provide requested services
  • Professional advisers for legal, accounting, security, and compliance purposes
  • Government agencies or regulators where disclosure is required by applicable law or valid legal process
  • Parties involved in legitimate business transactions, reorganizations, mergers, or sales where permitted by law

For avoidance of doubt, the disclosures described in this section do not include text messaging originator opt-in data or consent. Mobile opt-in information and SMS consent will not be provided to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional use.

Patient Acquired uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, misuse, loss, alteration, or disclosure.

No electronic transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Patient Acquired retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, administer customer relationships, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and preserve appropriate business records.

You may opt out of SMS communications by replying STOP and may use HELP for assistance.

Patient Acquired does not sell text messaging originator opt-in data or consent.

Patient Acquired's business services are not directed toward children. We do not knowingly solicit personal information directly from children through our business website for the purpose of purchasing Patient Acquired services.
